Lon Retreat opened its doors in October 2018 as a home-hotel and a 20 year dream fulfilled for owners Claire & Rob Gemes on the family farm. The farm, worked by Claire’s family for over 100 years spanning seven generations, is a wonderful source of food, productive work, nature inspired restoration, knowledge, recreation, healing and peace. Limestone caves were discovered underground a century ago and what was once the traditional sandstone family home has now been renovated by Claire & Rob to be the perfect blend of house and hotel.
